EMPEL™

Innovative & Sustainable WR treatment

Clean Chemistry, the foundation to a better long-term solution: use Hydrogen and Carbon – the building blocks of everything found in nature – and eliminate the use of water. “Dry Curing” is the water-free, solvent-free process of taking base monomer chemistry and turning them into polymers at the sight of the fibers. Recent independent tests conducted by Bureau Veritas prove that EMPEL™ are absolutely free from the whole PFAS Group to achieve the best water repellent fabric protection.

The EMPEL™ Process

1. Start with a water free, safe Hydro-Carbon monomer solution.
2. Roll on the patented chemistry onto the fabric face using conventional textile coating machinery.
3. Place the coated fabric rolls into the GTT curing PODS. Pressurize the entire roll to evenly coat every fiber of the fabric.
4. Heat the pressurized fabric roll using reciculating steam heat. The heat cures the monomers into polymer chains that molecularly bond the transformitive chemistry to the fabric.
